HYRA By-laws & Manual

The purpose of the Hawai’i Yacht Racing Association (HYRA) Manual is to coordinate the latest data concerning

• HYRA personnel;

• Current rulings released by its Committees;

• Race schedules of HYRA and its member clubs;

• Requirements for entry into HYRA State Championships and similar events of US SAILING; along with

• Useful data of value to those participating in or charged with the conduct of HYRA-sponsored events.

Each section is, in effect, the bulletin-board of a specific Officer or Committee whose chair must see that it is kept current and complete, yet concise.  The manual must never be considered “in final form.” The Secretary, or the Committee concerned, should be informed promptly of any errors when dis­covered, preferably in writing.
